Dispatch

An airway bill number will be emailed to you, so that you may follow up online, or you may call the courier centre for an update.

All of our parcels require a signature upon delivery. If you are not at your address, you will be charged an extra delivery charge for a rescheduled delivery.
NB: If a parcel is undelivered due to an incorrect address being provided by the customer a return cost of AED 32 will be charged to the customer – this is COURIER charge for a return to sender parcel. Please make sure that your phone number and address is updated in your customer profile.
Shipping Rates for Outlying Areas
- Outlying areas cost of delivery will be confirmed before despatch, price depends on the ares as per courier charges.
- Certain Areas have require extra charges eg. DIFC, this cost will be borne by the customer.
- Some items we have are unusually heavy, and extra shipping is charged per heavy item, i.e. Fondant, Bulk orders, chocolate, edible items are all excluded from this free delivery.. these will be weighed and charged accordingly.
International Delivery
As of now, we do provide an International Service to Oman, Pakistan, Saudi, but this depends on Road/Air transport cost, and the payment is made before Items are shipped! All prices quoted on our website are in AED.
- Cost of shipping will depend on he final packed weight of goods.
- Certain items in our online catalogue are unavailable for international shipping. These include edibles, aerosols, flammable liquids, polystyrene cake dummies, oversize items as well as some items that may be categorized as hazardous materials due to their content.
- In addition, some items may be unavailable for shipping due to the individual policies of specific destination countries
- International orders are not eligible for exchanges. Items can be returned at purchaser’s expense for a refund, but not exchanged
- Your products value will be declared on your customs invoice and we are unable to change values on this invoice. The purchaser is responsible for any customs duty that may be applicable.
- It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure the shipping address is correct at time of ordering. The purchaser will be liable for any costs incurred due to incorrect address orders being returned to Cakebox.me.

Faye Cahill's range of lustre dust make for incredible finishing touches for various cake designs, specialising in soft blush pastel tones and a shimmering metallic sheen. They're perfect for adding some shine to wedding cake designs but also so many other occasions with a selection of 26 colours to choose from.
The dusts can be applied to your cake by simply dusting with a brush in dry form, or can be mixed with alcohol or rejuvenator spirit to create a paint. The paint can even be diluted further and sprayed through an airbrush for instant pearlescent/metallic effects.

Colours may weigh differently due to differences in colourings used.
Please note, the dusts do not contain a 'best before' date, as these dusts do not expire. This is because the minerals used do not break down the same way food, liquid or carriers do (unlike food colouring and edible paints etc). It is expected they will be usable for up to ten years.

It can also be mixed into Quick Paint, Paint Base or pure lemon extract and used as a paint to paint onto fondant, decorations, pastilage, gelatine balls etc.
Dust:
Used to dry brush color onto gum paste or fondant designs. The result will be a PEARL like finish.
How to:
Paint:
In a small bowl, mix equal parts PINK LABEL PIGMENT and Quick Paint, Paint Base (for painting on chocolate or fondant) or pure lemon extract. Mix thoroughly before painting and stir often as it continuously settles to the bottom. If you need to paint more than one layer for even coverage allow each coat to dry completely before starting a new one.
Dust:
Dab the paint brush into the pigment and tip excess off. Test the colour by brushing in a circular motion on paper towel. If it is correct, do the same on the fondant or gumpaste designs you want to add colour to. Ideal for sugar craft flowers etc.
For fine details, a small round head brush works best. For larger areas, use a wider, flatter brush even the big round brush, used to apply blusher.
Satin sheen powder used to dust onto finished articles to give it the perfect satin sheen finish. Mix with BARCO QUICK PAINT or PAINT BASE and paint directly onto fondant, decorations, plastilage, gelatine balls etc. Halaal and Kosher approved
